William Charles Energy is an acknowledged leader in leveraging the country’s ultimate renewable energy source, the methane that is normally burned off at a landfill. The Winnebago Energy Center in Rockford, Illinois captures this previously wasted energy source to generate 6.4 MW electricity – a consistent source of power for electricity for over 5,000 homes.

From engineering and planning to landfill management, we are set to address a full range of new energy technologies, geothermal energy, biomass, gasification, wind energy, and solar energy in order to achieve a clean and competitive sustainable energy future.
